Alecia Sanchez is Chief Strategy Officer of the California Medical Association (CMA), a non-profit organization representing almost 50,000 physicians in all modes of practice and specialties dedicated to promoting the science and art of medicine, the protection of public health and the betterment of the medical profession.
Sanchez leads the Center for Strategic Engagement where she manages regulatory advocacy in areas related to scope of practice, licensure and discipline, workforce, and public health. She also coordinates the organization’s policy development process, the outcome of which serves as the foundation of CMA’s advocacy engagement.
