Cynthia George is the Senior Director of Partnerships for Sustaining Daily Care at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). She has extensive experience leading change as a Family Nurse Practitioner in pediatric and adult healthcare settings. Over the past two decades her main area of practice focused on adults living with cystic fibrosis (CF) in which she played a key role in establishing an adult CF program in Washington, DC., and leading national efforts with the CF Foundation’s Therapeutics Development Network (TDN) to enhance a culture of research at CF care centers across the U.S.
Her current focus directing a multi-pronged program harnesses the power of collaboration between multi-disciplinary healthcare teams and people and families with CF for the purpose of strengthening CF care partnerships and promoting a more holistic approach to addressing the sustainment of daily CF treatment
