Dr. Catherine H. Ivory is an Associate Nurse Executive at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a clinical Associate Professor at Vanderbilt School of Nursing and secondary faculty in the Department of Biomedical Informatics. She has more than 25 years of experience as a staff nurse, clinical specialist nurse leader, and health services researcher, and has been nursing faculty since 2012. She got her BSN at Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University, an MSN in Nursing Administration/Healthcare Informatics from Georgia College and State University, and a PhD in Nursing Science from Vanderbilt. She loves to talk about and study nursing value and use the data generated by nurses to tell their story. She’s active on several national committees and councils and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
