A 35-year Paramedic serving the Minneapolis metro area’s 911 system felt a calling to spend more time caring for patients in their homes. When her then employer, Allina Health offered a grant program for Community Paramedic, she jumped at the opportunity to advance her education.
Hedger was an influential figure in developing and launching Allina Health’s advanced home care program. Now she collaborates with a team of Community Paramedics at Inbound Health and continues to provide a vital role in the health and recovery of acute and post-acute patients in the comfort of their homes.
