Dr. Leff is Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University Schools of Medicine. His research focuses on novel models of care delivery for older adults, risk prediction, and quality improvement, with an emphasis on home-based models of care, including Hospital at Home. He has led Hospital at Home development in the US since the 1990s and Co-Leads of the Hospital at Home Users Group. He is past-President of the American Academy of Home Care Physicians and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Board of Internal Medicine Foundation.
