Julie Çelebi, MD, MS, FAAFP

Dr. Julie Çelebi is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. She practices the full breadth of primary care for patients of all ages, with special interests in reproductive health, LGBTQ+ healthcare, and medicine for the medically underserved. She is passionate about educating and mentoring medical students and residents and co-directs the Compassionate Action and Real Engagement in the Community (CARE) course at the School of Medicine. Dr. Çelebi is Wellness Director for UCSD’s Department of Family Medicine as well as for Graduate Medical Education at UCSD Health, and also serves as a Well-Being Educator for the American Academy of Family Physicians.
