Umut Sarpel, MD, MSC

Umut Sarpel, MD, MSc, FSSO, FACS, is a board-certified Surgeon who specializes in Surgical Oncology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Research from the University of Rochester. She earned her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed her residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Sarpel then pursued an additional two years of specialty training in the field of Surgical Oncology while attaining a Masters of Science in Clinical Research. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology, the American HepatoPancreatoBiliary Association, as well as the Association of Women Surgeons.
