Dr. David B. Nash is Founding Dean Emeritus and the Dr. Raymond C. and Doris N. Grandon Professor of Health Policy at the Jefferson College of Population Health. A board-certified internist, he is internationally recognized for advancing physician leadership, public accountability for outcomes, and quality-of-care improvement. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Nash earned national acclaim as Chief Health Advisor for the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau. He has served on numerous governance boards, including Humana, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, and CAHME, and continues to shape healthcare policy and leadership education nationwide. Dr. Nash has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and 25 books, including How Covid Crashed the System. He is Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Medical Quality and Population Health Management.
