Janak Joshi currently serves as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Chief Digital Officer under Governor Maura Healey’s administration, responsible for bringing next generation digital & AI-led capabilities to service all State agencies and citizens across the state. Most recently, Joshi has published the multi-sector AI Guidance Framework for state agencies to conduct business in Massachusetts. As of July 2025, he has been nominated to serve on the White House AI Task Force that is responsible for advising and recommending policy and governance across sectors nationally and internationally.
