Rachyl Pines PhD, is a Research Scientist in the Office of Patient Experience at Stanford Medicine. Rachyl is accountable for the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of innovative, interdisciplinary research programs that support and promote improvement of the care experience. Her work leverages principles of relationship centered care and communication to improve the patient experience with a focus on excellence and equity, innovate higher value care, and support provider wellness. Prior to joining Stanford, Rachyl was a Research Scientist at Cottage Health Research Institute at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital where she supported pediatric, behavioral health, population health, women’s services and RN-led research that occurred at the hospital.
