Bill Marquardt is Group Vice President at Premier, overseeing the company’s Digital Supply Chain initiative. In this capacity, he collaborates with providers and suppliers to develop AI-enabled, data-driven solutions designed to enhance transparency, efficiency, innovation, and cost savings. With experience in supply chain management, clinical data analytics, and enterprise resource planning, Marquardt manages the company's supply chain technology strategy, directs the delivery of technology solutions, and supports Premier’s online platforms.
Since joining Premier in 1995, he has worked in consulting, contracting, operations, technology, and product management roles. Throughout his career, he has partnered with healthcare organizations to streamline processes, implement innovative technologies, and optimize data utilization.
Janak Joshi
Janak Joshi currently serves as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Chief Digital Officer under Governor Maura Healey’s administration, responsible for bringing next generation digital & AI-led capabilities to service all State agencies and citizens across the state. Most recently, Joshi has published the multi-sector AI Guidance Framework for state agencies to conduct business in Massachusetts.

Joshua Proulx
Joshua Proulx is an accomplished informaticist and healthcare technologist with over 25 years of experience. As a National Merit Scholar at Brigham Young University, he earned a BS in bioinformatics and electrical engineering. His early work included cancer research using supercomputers and developing software for malaria drug discovery at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Centre. A pioneer in healthcare technology, he led the development of one of the first wireless telemedicine Bluetooth EKG sensors and supporting clinical informatics platforms at the University of Utah Medical School and the VA. His research has leveraged natural language processing to explore the relationship between dietary supplements and bleeding risks with warfarin. He serves as the Principal AI Data Engineer at Geneial developing a fine tuned large language model to transform healthcare data.
Effie Stavrulaki, PhD
Dr. Effie Stavrulaki is an Associate Professor of Management at Bentley University. She holds a PhD in Management Science from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester. Her research and teaching interests explore how supply-chain, new-product-development, and individual decisions impact organizational objectives and increase societal value. She has extensively investigated topics relating to inventory management, humanitarian logistics, healthcare operations and applications of mindfulness in business and educational settings. Dr. Stavrulaki has presented her work in many international conferences and has published articles in many top peer-reviewed journals. She has developed and taught operations management, supply chain management, mindfulness, healthcare leadership, and positive psychology-based courses and workshops for various student populations.
