Ann Marie Day is the Chief Operating Officer of the New England Rural Health Association (NERHA), where she provides leadership for organizational strategy, programs, personnel, and financial management. Ms. Day brings a long history in leadership development, quality improvement, population health management, and community-based work, with progressive experience implementing data-driven change and fostering organizational growth.

She has led high-impact programs, securing diverse funding streams and cultivating strategic partnerships to expand reach and deepen community impact. With an in-depth knowledge of rural health, social determinants of health, substance use disorders, and patient experience, Ms. Day also led the Patient and Family Advisory Council at a rural community health center. She holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Rivier University and has presented nationally at the National Rural Health Association Conference, the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program conference, and across the New England region.
