As the Regional Physician Leader for Inpatient and Advanced Care at Home Care Experience across 21 hospitals in Kaiser Permanente Northern California (NCAL), Dr. Ashu Goyal provides strategic leadership focused on ensuring patients receive the highest level of care experience and clinical quality across hospital-based and home-based acute care settings. His expertise centers on care experience strategy, quality improvement, and physician leadership. He played a key role in the development and enterprise-wide implementation of a standardized Care Experience survey for Kaiser Permanente’s Advanced Care at Home program, supporting consistent measurement and improvement efforts across multiple markets. He earned his MD from Louisiana State University Medical School, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Yale School of Medicine, and completed the Healthcare Executive Leadership Program
