Chip McIntosh has held multiple positions in clinical, including as a critical care nurse and a nurse practitioner specializing in Neurosurgery. His career includes being both on active duty, reserves and National Guard in the US Air Force. He started his supply chain work in 2012 setting up the Value Analysis program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. This position led to overseeing Sourcing and Purchasing for the Beth Israel Lahey Health System. Currently, he oversees 35 personnel focusing on all the purchasing and sourcing activities for a 14 hospital IDN. Responsible for more than $2.5 Billion worth of spend in total life cycle for all contracts. Architects, manages and is responsible for $25 million in annual cost savings.
