Elijah Murrell is the Executive Director of Operations for the Hospital Care at Home (HCaH) service at Mercy. In this role as part of a partnership with Maribel Health, Elijah leads the execution of the HCaH strategic plan, overseeing program implementation and growth across multiple sites. His leadership has driven the successful launch of two programs at Mercy’s largest hospitals, with plans to expand to seven additional locations within 24 months. Under his leadership, the inaugural program achieved 350+ admissions, saved over 1,000 bed days, and reached a peak census of 8 patients in the first 12 months, ranking in the 98th percentile for speed to 100 admissions. Elijah is responsible for ensuring both financial and operational success of the program, in collaboration with senior leadership.
