Elisa Choi, MD, FACP, FIDSA, FAMWA

Internal Medicine, HIV Medicine, and Infectious Diseases Physician

Dr. Elisa I. Choi (she/her) is a physician leader and educator, serving as a Regent of the American College of Physicians (ACP) and the immediate past Governor of the Massachusetts ACP Chapter. She made history as the first woman and only Asian American female to serve in this role. Dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, she practices in Greater Boston and is a Chief of Internal Medicine. A faculty member at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Choi mentors medical students and residents. Her expertise includes infectious diseases, HIV, health disparities, and health equity. She has received numerous awards, including the ACP 2024 Richard Neubauer Award for advocacy. A recognized leader in ACP, AMA, AMWA, and IDSA, Dr. Choi continues to champion diversity, equity, and healthcare excellence.
