Dr. Eric Alper is SVP, Chief Quality Officer and Chief Clinical Informatics Officer at UMass Memorial Health Care and Professor of Medicine at UMass Chan Medical School. In addition to his clinical work in Hospital Medicine for the last 25 years, Dr. Alper is a seasoned physician executive, having served as the primary physician champion for 2 large Epic implementations He has led many clinical and operational improvements. He has served as executive sponsor for UMass Memorial’s digital health strategy, Hospital at Home and other care at home strategies. Dr. Alper received his medical degree at UMass Medical School, is board certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics.
