Dr. Jacob Keeperman got his first exposure to medicine in EMS as an EMT-Basic, proceeded to medical school after which he completed residency in Emergency Medicine at Washington University in St Louis/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Based on his experiences as an ICU patient and a flight physician during residency, Jake continued at Washington University pursuing fellowships in Critical Care Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. Following the completion of this training, Jake joined the faculty of Washington University School of Medicine where he was promoted through the ranks to Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine.
