Dr. Jody Barris is a board-certified internal medicine and pediatric hospitalist, and the Medical Director for Tampa General Hospital at Home. Since joining the team in 2023, TGH at Home has shown over 200% growth under her leadership, and has maintained excellent outcomes while climbing the acuity spectrum. Her work was recently recognized by the Hospital at Home Users’ Group, as she was named one of the 2025 Clinicians of the Year. Jody is passionate about bringing hospital at home to the underserved and medically needy, and is always looking for new patient populations for TGH at Home. Jody lives in Tampa with her husband and children, and spends her free time chauffeuring her kids to different activities.
