Katherine Chen is a second-year Neuroscience student at Rutgers University aspiring to become a physician. She is the Student Chair of the Music and Medicine Committee for the American Medical Women’s Association and an executive editor for Humanities and Healing: An Arts in Medicine Journal. Katherine conducts research on brain lateralization in Zebra finches at the Vicario Lab and works as a medical scribe at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. A cellist with over eight years of experience, she volunteers as a Teaching Assistant at the Paterson Music Project. On campus, she serves as a Dancer Relations Captain for Rutgers Dance Marathon and performs with HARU Kpop Dance Cover Club and the Rutgers Performing Dance Company.
