Katrina Green, MD

Dr. Katrina Green earned her MD at Wayne State University and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Indiana University. She practices at a public hospital which partners with the Meharry Medical College to train medical students and residents. Dr. Green has been an advocate for healthcare since 2019, helping a community gun violence prevention organization, speaking up for public health during the pandemic, reproductive rights after the fall of Roe, and advocating for safety after two school shootings in Nashville. She is the AMWA advocacy committee chair, serving for the past 3 years in this role.
