Lisa M. Wong MD

Dr. Lisa Wong is a pediatrician dedicated to arts and health. As assistant professor of pediatrics and co-director of Arts and Humanities Initiative at Harvard Medical School she teaches an undergraduate course on music and health and co-leads a faculty fellowship on museum-based medical education. A member of Longwood Symphony Orchestra, she co-designed its Healing Art of Music Program and Boston Hope Music. She serves on boards integrating arts and health and worked with Massachusetts Cultural Council on Arts on Prescription, a social prescription initiative. She authored Scales to Scalpels: Doctors Who Practice the Healing Arts of Music and Medicine.
