Marianne Parshley, MD has spent her career in internal medicine primarily caring for older patients living with chronic complex illness. She graduated from Dartmouth Medical School and trained at Providence Portland IM Program. She also teaches communication skills as primary palliative care lead for a growing GeriPall community of practice at Providence. She serves as a Regent for American College of Physicians, as ACP delegate to AMA, and recently as President of Oregon Medical Association. As a balance to work, she enjoys traveling at a human pace by bike or by foot and spending time outdoors in the mountains with her growing family.
