Mariel’s previous leadership roles were in R&D, Clinical, and Clinical Marketing in early-stage medtech spanning cardiology, neurosurgery, general surgery, critical care, and digital health. She is a co-inventor on over 50 issued patents. Mariel holds BS and MS degrees in Biomechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
