Mikayla Mefford, MPH, AMWA-PATH

Mikayla Mefford is a medical student at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and recently earned her Masters in Public Health with a focus in Health Policy at UCLA. She has worked with American Medical Women’s Association-Physicians Against the Trafficking of Humans for three years, organizing Learn to Identify and Fight Trafficking trainings at her institution. She is passionate about women’s health and aims to expand anti-trafficking education in medical schools nationwide, equipping healthcare professionals to better support trafficking survivors.
