Peter Balistrieri is the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations with WVU Medicine’s Children’s Hospital and the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. He is a traditionally trained PR professional turned integrated marketing and communications strategist, digital storyteller (read: content marketer), brand guru and social media pioneer. His expertise is in healthcare (adult and children’s hospitals and health systems), but he’s also worked extensively in financial planning and manufacturing industries. He enjoys working in healthcare the most mainly because he values working with physician leaders and learning about their work, but he also loves meeting and working with patients and their families.
