Swati Mehta, MD

Dr. Swati Mehta is a board-certified internist and adult hospitalist at CommonSpirit Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, CA. She serves as National Director of Quality & Experience at Vituity, impacting care for over 9 million patients nationwide. Dr. Mehta created the 6H Framework for Human Connection, implemented by multiple health systems and recognized with national awards. She chairs the SHM Patient Experience Executive Council, serves on SHM’s Wellbeing Task Force, and is a Senior Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine. A certified patient experience coach (CPXP), she frequently keynotes conferences including Press Ganey and Becker’s. She also serves on the Executive Physician Council of the Beryl Institute and SHM Bay Area Board. Dr. Mehta trained in internal medicine at SUNY Upstate, where she was Chief Resident, and completed a nephrology fellowship.
