Teresa has over 45 years of nursing experience with 27 years in Nursing Leadership, the last 3 years as the Manager of Clinical Operations for the UNC Advanced Care at Home program. Prior to UNC, Teresa held various nursing leadership roles at an acute care hospital in Southern West Virginia, her last role was helping to drive innovation and service line development as Executive Director of Medical Surgical Services. Teresa also led a community project bringing together community providers from EMS, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health agencies, and acute care hospitals, with the goal of reducing readmissions by coordinating and collaborating efficiencies and improving communication of care. Teresa holds a Bachelors Degree in Nursing with a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration.
