Tina Shah, MD, MPH, is a pulmonary and critical care physician and national expert in workforce burnout, digital health, and health policy. As Chief Clinical Officer at Abridge, she leverages generative AI to reduce clinicians’ administrative workload and empower patients. Dr. Shah previously served in two White House administrations, the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs, and as Senior Advisor to the US Surgeon General, where she led the nation’s healthcare burnout strategy. She also spearheaded telemedicine implementation during COVID-19 for a Georgia health system. Featured by the National Academy of Medicine, CMS, Harvard, CBS, and NBC, Dr. Shah earned her MD from Thomas Jefferson University and MPH from Harvard. Outside of work, she enjoys volleyball and family time.
