Wendy Cooper, MSN, RN-BC, NE-BC

Wendy joined the Orlando Health Hospital Care at Home leadership team in December 2022 prior to the launch of this innovative care model in February 2023 and two additional programs in March 2024. She is responsible for the operational leadership for all three programs with over 100 dedicated Hospital Care at Home team members providing care throughout Central Florida. Wendy started her nursing career at Orlando Health in 2011 where she spent 11 years working in Surgical Oncology. She has eight years of nursing leadership experience where she has focused on developing high-performing teams that embrace organizational culture while pursuing excellence in patient care, quality, and safety. This experience has enabled her to develop and implement standards of practice and processes to ensure all patients receive high-quality, safe care in the comfort of their home.
