Yolanda Lawson M.D, is the Immediate Past President of the National Medical Association. She is the Executive Medical Director, Maternal Infant Health for HealthCare Services Corporation. She founded MadeWell OBGYN in Dallas, Texas, and is an Associate Attending at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Lawson is a frequently invited guest speaker, panelist, and moderator on health equity & health disparities. She earned her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, performed her internship at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and completed her residency at St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, member of the Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society.
